(Extrait des statuts) Art. 2 - Ce groupement a pour but, à l'échelle géographique du Sud de l'Europe, de défendre la communauté originaire de l'Asie du Sud (Inde, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Népal...), défendre et favoriser le développement de ses valeurs et activités culturelles, promouvoir les échanges avec le sous continent indien et la diaspora, favoriser le développement de l'information sur l'Asie du Sud. Art. 5 - Admission : Pour être membre de l'association, il faut être soit originaire de l'Asie du Sud, soit ressortissant des pays du sous-continent indien, être détenteur ou propriétaire d'un projet individuel ou collectif relatif aux présents statuts, sans obligation de résider dans la région. Le projet et sa faisabilité sont soumis à l'agrément du bureau qui statue sur les demandes d'adhésion. a) Sont membres d'honneur, ceux ayant accompli un projet b) Sont membres bienfaiteurs, ceux ayant financé un projet c) Sont membres actifs ceux acteurs ou financiers d'un ou de plusieurs projets d) Sont salariés (es), mais non membres, ceux liés (es) par contrat de travail et convention e) Sont bénévoles-indépendants, mais non membres, ceux liés (es) par convention pour mission.
